Laurence M. Vance, Ph.D., is the Director of the Francis Wayland Institute, Adjunct Instructor in Accounting at Pensacola Junior College, and an Adjunct Scholar at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He holds degrees in history, theology, accounting, and economics.

Dr. Vance is editor of the Classic Reprints series on Christianity and classical liberalism from Vance Publications, and he is the author of the books, Christianity and War and Other Essays Against the Warfare State; The Other Side of Calvinism; A Brief History of English Bible Translations; Greek Verbs in the New Testament and Their Principal Parts; King James, His Bible, and Its Translators; The Angel of the Lord; Archaic Words and the Authorized Version; A Practical Grammar of Basic Biblical Hebrew; and The Revolution That Wasn't.
