Nancey Murphy

Nancey Murphy is Professor of Christian Philosophy at Fuller Theological Seminary and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Center on Culture and Civil Society at the Independent Institute.

Professor Murphy serves as an editorial advisor for numerous publishers and journals and is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences and the Planning Committee for conferences on science and theology sponsored by the Vatican Observatory. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, and is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren.

Her books include Theology in the Age of Scientific Reasoning; Downward Causation and the Neurobiology of Free Will; Scientific Perspectives on Divine Action: Twenty Years of Challenge and Progress; Did My Neurons Make Me Do It?
