Taking Nobel laureate Friedrich A. Hayek as a model, classical liberal scholarship can be advanced on three frontsthe theoretical, the empirical, and the ethical. But unless Hayeks heirs deal with the concerns of others, classical liberalism runs the risk of becoming consigned to intellectual irrelevance.
