Bernard H. Siegan (1924–2006) was Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of San Diego. He received his law degree from the University of Chicago, and he was author of the books, The Supreme Court's Constitution: An Inquiry Into Judicial Review and Its Impact on Society, Economic Liberties and the Constitution, Property Rights: From Magna Carta to the Fourteenth Amendment, and Land Use Without Zoning.
