Peter T. Leeson is BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism at George Mason University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University, and he has been a fellow at the London School of Economics and Harvard University.
Professor Leeson received First Prize for the 2007 Olive W. Garvey Fellowships, and his books include The Legacy of Ludwig von Mises: Theory and History, The Invisible Hook: The Hidden Economics of Pirates, History's Most Notorious Criminals, and Media, Institutional Change, and Economic Development.
