Eric R. Taylor is a Marvin & Warren Boudreaux Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a Research Fellow with the Independent Institute. His research interests include DNA-Drug interactions and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) defense and policies.
Professor Taylor was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army in the Air Defense Artillery and the Chemical Corps. He is the author of the book on chemical and biological warfare and terrorism, Lethal Mists: An Introduction to the Natural and Military Sciences of Chemical, Biological Warfare and Terrorism (Nova Science Publishers, Inc., Commack, NY, 405 pp., 1999, ISBN 1-56072-459-5).
In addition, he has authored numerous policy papers on issues of WMD and civil liberties in light of the war on terrorism, Insight Magazine, National Defense Magazine, and Issues in Science and Technology.
