Lynne Kiesling is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics and the Social Enterprise in the Kellogg School of Management, Faculty Member in the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems. and a Faculty Affiliate in the Center for the Study of Industrial Organization at Northwestern University. Dr. Kiesling received a Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University, and she has been Assistant Professor at College of William and Mary, Manager at Price Waterhouse/PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Director of Economic Policy at the Reason Foundation, and Research Scholar for Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science at George Mason University.
Dr. Kiesling is the author of the book, Deregulation, Innovation, and Market Liberalization: Electricity Regulation in a Continually Evolving Environment, and she has served as a peer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation, and for academic journals including Energy Journal, Public Choice, and Review of Economics and Statistics. She has provided expert testimony in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, California Public Utilities Commission, Illinois Commerce Commission, and New York Public Service Commission.
