J. P. Moreland is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy in the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Center on Culture and Civil Society at the Independent Institute. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Southern California.
With degrees in philosophy, theology, and chemistry, Professor Moreland is a Member of the Executive Committee for the Evangelical Philosophical Society; Fellow of the Wilberforce Forum; and a Member of the Executive Committee for the Society of Christian Philosophers. Dr. Moreland served with Campus Crusade for 10 years, planted two churches, and has spoken on more than 200 college campuses.
