Ray Hartwell
Ray Hartwell is a director at Ecosystem Economics LLC, a consulting firm that supports the design and implementation of market-based approaches to environmental management challenges. Ray brings substantial expertise in water rights transactions, conservation finance, ecosystem services markets, and econometric analysis. He also has experience in energy efficiency planning and implementation.
Prior to joining Ecosystem Economics, Ray worked at the Deschutes River Conservancy, Environmental Defense Fund, and Cornerstone Research. In addition, he taught courses in statistics at New York University. Ray holds a BA summa cum laude from Williams College and a master's from New York University.
