Alexandre Padilla is Professor and Chair of the Economics Department and Director of the Exploring Economic Freedom Project at Metropolitan State University Denver. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Université de Droit, d'Economie, et des Sciences d'Aix Marseille III.
Professor Padilla is a member of the Executive Board for the Association of Private Enterprise Education, and his scholarly articles and reviews have been published in the Journal of Private Enterprise; Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy; Florida State University Business Review; Commentaries on Law & Economics; Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics; and Review of Austrian Economics.
He is the recipient of Golden Key International Honour Society Outstanding Faculty Award and the Don Lavoie Memorial Essay Award of the Society for the Development of Austrian Economics.
