James R. Stoner, Jr.
James R. Stoner, Jr., is the Hermann Moyse Jr. Professor and Director of the Eric Voegelin Institute in the Department of Political Science at Louisiana State University, and he is a Senior Fellow of the Witherspoon Institute. His authored books include Common-Law Liberty: Rethinking American Constitutionalism and Common Law and Liberal Theory: Coke, Hobbes, and the Origins of American Constitutionalism, and he is the co-editor of The Social Costs of Pornography: A Collection of Papers (with Donna M. Hughes), and Rethinking Business Management: Examining the Foundations of Business Education (with Samuel Gregg). He received his Ph.D. in political science at Harvard University.
