Roger D. Feldman is the Blue Cross Professor of Health Insurance and Professor of Economics at the University of Minnesotas Center for Health Services Research. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester, and he has served as Senior Economist with the Presidents Council of Economic Advisors, Visiting Professor at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Director of the HCFA Research Center funded by the Health Care Financing Administration, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Health Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is the recipient of two Annual Research Awards from the National Institute for Health Care Management and two Article of the Year Awards from the Association for Health Services Research, and his articles have appeared in such scholarly journals as Inquiry; International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics; Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law; Journal of Health Economics; Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery; Journal of Rehabilitation Research & Development; Journal of Risk and Insurance; National Tax Journal; and International Journal of Health Planning and Management.
