Pope Francis purportedly told a journalist recently that there is no hell. Research Fellow Robert Whaples, editor of Pope Francis and the Caring Society appears on WCGO radio's "The Hard Question with Blanquita Collum" to discuss the implications of this to Catholics around the world. Whaples says if the Pope doesn't believe in hell, it would be heretical. However, Whaples also adds that the Pope may have been misquoted by the journalist.
