Michael C. Munger is a Senior Fellow and Co-Editor of "The Independent Review" at the Independent Institute and Professor of Political Science, Economics and Public Policy and Director of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program at Duke University. He is Co-Editor of the recent Independent Institute book, "In All Fairness: Equality, Liberty, and the Quest for Human Dignity." He has been Staff Economist at the Federal Trade Commission, President of the Public Choice Society, and President of the North Carolina Political Science Association, and he has taught at Dartmouth College, University of Texas at Austin, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
William J. Watkins, Jr., is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute and author of the Independent Institute books, "Crossroads for Liberty: Recovering the Anti-Federalist Values of America's First Constitution," "Reclaiming the American Revolution: The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions and Their Legacy" and "Patent Trolls: Predatory Litigation and the Smothering of Innovation." He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and his LL.M. with merit from the University of London. Mr. Watkins is a former law clerk to Judge William B. Traxler, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and he is President of the Greenville, SC, Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
