Peter Thiel is the co-author of The Diversity Myth: Multiculturalism and Political Intolerance on Campus, published by the Independent Institute in 1995. He calls the book “prophetic.” As a student at Stanford University, Thiel witnessed the changes brought to campus by a “great experiment” in “multiculturalism” on campus, which brought curricular innovation, new codes for student conduct, the celebration and institutionalization of “diversity,” changes in dorm life, even a refocusing of campus ministries.
