A deeply knowledgeable historian conversant in several disciplines, Leonard P. Liggio (19332014) was also an intellectual organizer who for many decades built bridges between libertarian scholars and think tanks around the world. He will also be remembered for his kindness, accessibility, and encouragement to scholars who worked inside and outside the classical liberal tradition.
