Knowledge is not merely information, but a multi-dimensional mass of analysis and interpretation of information. Economists such as Kenneth Arrow and Donald Wittman who try to flatten knowledge by equating it with information tend to ignore the wisdom of ordinary people in favor of the supposed experts who would lord over them.
