Although polls indicate Millennials are more likely to support socialist policies than the average American, Millennials’ support for socialism will soon wane. Their support for socialism stems from ignorance of the meaning and history of socialist policies. Most of it is cheap signaling. Once Millennials’ student debts have been paid off and their incomes have risen, the price tag of socialist policies will force Millennials to reassess their position.
