The Independent Institute sponsors essay contests for undergraduate students with cash prizes awarded to the best submissions. The current 2024 Independent Review contest submissions are due May 15, 2024.

Internships are available year-round in our Acquisitions, Development, Marketing & Communications, Multimedia, Production, Research, and Social Media departments for current and recent college students.

For over 20 years, Independent offered its weeklong Challenge of Liberty Summer Seminars for high school and college students to provide a rigorous study in economics, history, law and philosophy.
